Plagiarism Policy

Articles submitted to BURANA - Journal of Turcology Studies are scanned by the editors of the journal using the plagiarism checker iThenticate. However, to ensure two-way control of submitted articles, the articles should be scanned by the authors using one of the plagiarism checking programs (Turnitin, iThenticate, Intihal.net, etc.) and the result of scanning should be uploaded to the system along with the article. According to the results of both reports, the similarity index should be no more than 20% excluding the bibliography. Articles exceeding this index will not be accepted into the journal.
